A is for Animals

So I thought I would start a new (hopefully) weekly post about the stuff I adore on Folksy! Starting with A for animals...

Adore these cute animal buttons by Mollimoo! (£2.95)

Brighten up someone's day with these 'Down at the Woods' silhouette notelets (Pack of 4 £5 from Pookie Su)

Invite a new friend home!! Jarrod the sock monkey (£10 from Katies corner)

You won't want to use this lovely sheep soap from Soaps by Laura (£1.60)

This beautiful wristlet with very cute owl print comes with a kit to make your own jewellry. Available from haptree (£12)

This print is available in lots of other letters too, I want to collect them all (From Nell, £10)

Heres Comes the Circus print (£25 from Laura-Kate Draws)

Everything is currently available from Folksy, so if you see something you like go and check these sellers out!

Have a lovely day

Where I'm from...

At the moment I live in a beautiful city by the sea on the south coast of England, Brighton.

Originally I'm from a city on the outskirts of London, Croydon.

This is a really short post, to remind myself really to go and take some great pics to show off these lovely places! They are both really really different but inspire me just the same

She shoots, she scores...

So I’ve decided to give myself a bit of direction. To be exact 25 goals by my 25th birthday! Which is just over 1200 days…

1. Get a tattoo
2. Run a marathon
3. Graduate
4. Learn Spanish
5. Open my Etsy and Folksy shops
6. Sell something in either my Etsy or Folksy shop!
7. Learn to crochet
8. Raise £9125 for charity (not just a random number, its £1 for every day I’ve been alive up to my 25th birthday!)
9. Go travelling
10. Make a formal dress and wear it to a big function
11. Keep this blog going
12. Grow something
13. Read some classic novels
14. Go to a festival
15. Take more photos
16. Climb a mountain
17. Cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats
18. Find myself the perfect vintage outfit
19. Try a yoga class

Ok, so there’s 6 missing but we can work on those over the next few months! I’m going to add these to a page on here so you can track my progress, and I promise there will be plenty of blog posts all about it!

Wish me luck!

This is a long needed introduction post, I think there needs to be a bit more behind the random shoe and cupcake posts!

So I am the Sare of SewSare. Sare is short for Sarah, and I really can’t remember the last time anyone called me that. I’m 21 and am just about to finish my degree (in Biology, about as far from anything creative as you can get!). I live by the sea and absolutely love being able to go to the beach (pebbles not sand) anytime I want.

So about this blog…It’s going to probably be a rather eclectic mix of all my loves! Which basically include fashion, sewing and related activities and the occasional cake! Hopefully you will enjoy being part of my little world and will come along for the ride…
