Almost there...

Just a quick post to apologise for the lack of posts recently! I'm in the middle of final exams so everything else has sort of disappeared from my mind...

But summer is almost here so much more free time (in between job hunting and house hunting!) so I can promise many more posts!

E is for England

I love England and its green countryside and amazing citys, so it seems only fitting to have an England themed Folksy Finds! Why not sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy?

These gorgeous needle books are also available in green, from Sew Recycled (£6.50)

Never get lost again or at least stay comfy with this printed cushion (Mrs Gibson's Atelier, £35)

I love this print of London townhouse from Lyndsey Hunter (£12)

Support England in the World Cup and have a cute addition to your home with this sporty Meerkat, available from NiftyKnits for £25

Another cute addition to your home is this mini paper bunting, only £3 from Buttons Up
Have the most British of ears with these beautiful earrings (Fluffs Stuffs, £6)

Well after all that, I'm off for a cup of tea myself! Once again, everything was available on Folksy at the time of writing!

Summer Camp!!

I'm very excited to be taking part in the Red Velvet Summer Camp! I've been reading Elsie's and Rachel's blogs for ages and couldn't wait for another class after taking part in Indie Biz a couple of months ago. All the projects look amazing!

I've got quite a busy few months coming up so it might be quite tricky to keep up but the class info is available for a whole year. Even I can get through the projects in 12 months!!

The photos they have taken to promote this class are also, as always, amazing! Worth just checking those out!

Have a lovely day!

D is for Dinosaurs

Welcome back to another week of Folksy Finds! In homage to a lovely housemate and her obsession with dinosaurs, that is the theme this week!

This textile wall art is available from Sitting on the Wall for £8, it would look great in a dinosaur lover's bedroom

I know this isn't strictly dinosaur but you can see the connection! This beautiful necklace is £98 from Eden

There are also some gift tags on sale from Ellis Ann with dinosaur wobbly heads, at £1.50 for five.

There seems to be a shortage of dinosaur related products on Folksy, anyone know of any great finds I've missed?

C is for Cameras

Welcome back to my Folksy Finds, this week I've found some new loves on the theme of cameras! This may have been slightly influenced by the new shiny new camera I recently treated myself to...

I think this camera badge is so cute and who doesn't love felt! (Lupin, £15)

These stitch markers are guaranteed to brighten up anything! Available from The Bothered Owl for £5

If you are half as clumsy or forgetful as me, a bright camera case like this one is a necessity (Sugarmouse, £12)

Just gorgeous, exposure earrings available from Purple Shmurple for £4.50

Vintage polaroid tote bag from cut copy create for £13! They have lots of camera related beautiful things!

Hope you think these items are as lovely as I do! As usual, they were all available on Folksy at the time of writing!

B is for Bags

After a bit of a delay, I'm back with part two of my Folksy Finds. This time its B for Bags

Wish I was still young enough to play with these super cute bean bags, from With hugs and kisses for £14.99

This bag would make popping to the supermarket so much more fun and better for the environment too (Snowdon, £8.50)

I have actually fallen in love with this satchel - too cool for school! Available from Hold onto your handbag for £36

Be sure to never have the same bag as someone else with these gorgeous clutch bags. The ribbon means you can turn it into a shoulder bag too! (Pepperstorm, £20)

This shopping bag print by Lucy Player Graphic Design is so cool (£7)

Everything is available on Folksy (well it was when I wrote this post!), enjoy!

Sorry for the absence...

A massive apology for the long, long absence from my blog! Im in my final year at university (only got about 3 weeks to go!) so at the moment that has to be my priority.

But a few bits have happened since my last post...

I ran a marathon! Very slowly as it happens, after injuring my hip only a few miles in, but it was such a good day. And going more slowly meant I got to soak up the atmosphere way more and chat to some really nice people!

I've also started working on my first proper range of products for my soon-to-be Etsy shop. If everything goes to plan, I will hopefully open up late summer. So watch out for some sneaky peeks coming soon...

I've got a lot happening in the next couple of months: graduating from university, moving house, possible changing jobs, my first proper holiday in years...Its all very exciting and I promise I will blog more to share it all!

Hope everyones having a great day!
