Remember this? Well I popped back to Tidy Street to see how well they did.

And the answer is: pretty well!Tidy Street reduced their electricity usage by 15% and were below average pretty much the entire time. If only we could all do this...

Indie 3.0 is over

So Indie Biz 3.0 has been over for a week or so now. I learnt so much on the course and I finally feel like I'm making progress.

You might have noticed a few changes on the blog over the last couple of weeks and there's even more happening behind the scenes! Really can't wait to share with everyone.

Watch this space...

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

I have had some lovely parcels in the post this week.

First up were the business cards I won in a giveaway at Fancy Designs. Thanks Ashley! The photo is of the back, the front is amazing but it would mean spoiling a surprise I don't want to reveal just yet. But it is really lovely!

Then I recieved my fabric from the scrap swap organised by Sew Tara. Thanks Virginia of Geeky & Sassy! I can't wait to make some pretty items with it all, can anyone else see more cushions on the horizon?

I really do love getting things in the post!!

Marathon Day!

So today was marathon day and all the hard work is over for another year. It was a seriously hot day, made even harder by the fact that half my training was done in the worst winter we have had for years. But I managed it in just over 6 hours, an improvement on last year!

And now I'm never doing another one again. Well maybe just one more...

I Love Making Presents

I'm not sure if my friends and family are as much of a fan but I really enjoy making presents for people. Choosing the perfect present is such a stressful thing to do so at least I can relax while making them.

This little fella is a present for my mum for Mother's Day today. She seemed to love him so everyone's happy! This is one of the most complicated things I've ever made, from a pattern in Sew Hip magazine this month. The ears are made with fabric printed with hedgehogs, my mum's favourite animal. It's the small details every time!

I've got a few other present projects on the go but you will all have to wait until after they have been given away. Just in case anyone accidently sees them!
